About Mina Protocol (MINA)

What is Mina Protocol (MINA)?

Mina Protocol is a project to develop a blockchain network through the Mina Protocol. Mina Protocol was formerly “Coda Protocol”, a cryptocurrency protocol that first generates ultra-short blocks and is considered the world’s lightest blockchain. The project solves the problem of blockchain scalability by improving the original source code of blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum with the recursive zk-SNARKs protocol. These protocols allow the data size for block generation to not exceed a few tweets.
